Yes, that's what Daniel's doing right now.
Part of his Autism Spectrum Disorder manifests in obsessions, and he has an obsession about pants. (By pants I mean trousers, not underwear).
One facet of this is that we struggle to get him to change from long pants to short pants in spring and from short pants to long pants in autumn.
Another facet is that he raids his drawers and pulls out a pair of pants to snuggle in bed. Sometimes, for a bit of variation, he will go in search of a pair of my pants or a pair of his nanna's pants. Sometimes he even puts them on - yes, even ours, which are far too big for him! We have just been up to check on him as he's not settling well tonight, and there he is in a pyjama top and jeans, lying in bed trying to get to sleep!
Caleb is so much the opposite, he prefers to be in just his diaper and it is a fight to get him dressed at all, but it's so sweet that he uses your pants to obsesss on, maybe it's his way of having you with him at all times
